Dr. Kari Kondratowicz is a Canadian veterinarian dedicated to improving each patient’s quality of life and helping them enjoy long, healthy years with the people who love them. She approaches every case with gratitude, precision, and compassion, believing that successful surgical care is about more than the procedure—it’s about helping pets truly thrive.
Dr. Kari earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine and her Bachelor of Science in Physiology & Pharmacology (Great Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan. She has practiced across North America, including roles in Los Angeles and Santa Monica, and now serves the Metro Detroit community with Veterinary United, where her clinical focus is soft tissue surgery.
Her passion for animals began early, growing up on expansive Canadian acreage where she rescued puppies and kittens, raised purebred cattle, and competed in equestrian events. She has also worked with marine mammals at the Vancouver Aquarium. Outside the clinic, Dr. Kari enjoys exploring local neighborhoods, spending time near the Great Lakes, and planning ocean-side getaways with her Boxer, Hattie.
