Mary has over five years of experience in veterinary medicine, beginning her journey in 2020 as a kennel technician and growing into roles in assisting, reception, and clinic management. She has a special interest in surgery and emergency medicine, and often picks up weekend shifts at Parkway’s ER to help care for pets in urgent need. Mary is especially known for her confidence handling “spicy” cats and her growing interest in working with exotic animals such as reptiles and birds.
She enjoys working with rescues and occasionally volunteers at the Humane Society in Detroit. One of her favorite parts of the job is client education, helping pet parents learn how to better care for their companions. At home, Mary shares her life with three cats—Astrid, Sky, and Esther—and a goldendoodle named Max. In her free time, she enjoys sleeping, traveling, and trying new foods, with a recent trip to Hawaii being one of her favorites.
